Elizabeth Meek is undoubtedly one of Britain’s finest miniaturists. She has served as president of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers since 2004, and has been President of the Society of Women Artists for the past five years.  She specialises in fine portraiture in a range of sizes, but is best known for her ability to capture the sitter’s likeness to an extraordinary level of detail in miniatures, which traditionally are painted at a maximum size of 6 inches (approx 15cm) high by 4 inches (approx 10cm) wide.

Her work appears in several prestigious private, royal and public collections and she has won myriad awards.   She has featured in several publications about miniatures and the arts, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour, BBC’s Rolf on Art and many other broadcast programmes.

Portrait miniatures by Elizabeth Meek start from under UK£2000 and sittings are required.
